Mechanically Monitor Arm

I'm trying to make a doll's arm move up and down mechanically powered by battery and I want it to just go up and down repeatedly. I was wondering what's the best way of doing this and it would be really helpful if there are any specific components needed to make this work. Thank you! @Christopher: You don't have to be so nosey :/, I just needed some possible suggestions.

I hydroplaned into a curb yesterday and blew out my front drivers side tire. Replaced the tire and discovered that my steering was well off. I have taken the car to two separate places and received estimates of 750 and 700. I looked on line though and I can buy the control arm itself for about 75 bucks. My dad is very mechanically inclined, do you think between the two of us we could change it? Or would I be better off having it done professionally?

1 Remove front wheel and support vehicle securely with jackstands. 2. Disconnect the stabalizer bar link from the control arm. 3. Remove the balljoint retaining bolt and nuts (use prybar to disconnect the control arm from the steering knuckle) 4. Remove the two bolts that attach the front of the control arm to the engine cradle. 5. Remove the bolt and nut that attach the rear of the control arm to the engine cradle. 6. My older sister has a Stag Arms model 1. She has let me borrow it for a month or so to toy with it. Strip it, clean it, learn about it. Then eventually shoot it. Mechanical Zero is simply a condition where the front and rear sights are set to their middle positions. (Front Sight centered between its available up or down elevation movement range, Rear Sight centered between its left or right windage movement range and its elevation drum is set to the 300 meter position near the bottom of its movement range.) Mechanically zeroing a rifle is only a first step to to sighting-in a rifle. Once a rifle has been mechanically zeroed, it can be aimed at a paper target which is a relatively short distance away (such as 25 feet or 25 meters) to establish an initial grouping. That shot group can then be used to make initial corrections to the sights and additional groups can be fired to refine the settings and thereby allow the rifle to be used with greater precision against more distant targets. The 1999 Ford Ranger has a 3.0 V6 Flex Fuel. I watched a video on U tube on bail joint control arm replacement that was done on a 2003 Ford Ranger. I need to replace my bail joints on my truck, because it makes a popping sound, when I turn into a curve. So, what is important is the front suspension similarities. Can anybody help?

You have to know whether or not your Ranger is one with front torsion bar suspension or front coil spring & shock suspension. Torsion bar suspension will also have shocks & springs, but you'll see two large bars that tie the front suspension to the frame midway underneath the cab. Part numbers will be different between the two setups, but when you look them up the part descriptions will USUALLY state with or without front torsion bar suspension. When you say mechanically, you are refering to only the powertrain (engine & transmission).
